DuoCall – Modular Exhibition 7ft putting challenge & dual screen demo station
The background
DuoCall wanted a solution for their stand at Automechanika Birmingham, NEC. They wanted to include a 7ft Putt Challenge game onto the stand, plus a live demo station to showcase their video conferencing product, with storage area and presentation screen.
The solution
A modular system was used, providing a “custom look” for the stand and allowing the integration of bespoke features. The stand was open on two sides and split into “zones”. To the left was the competition activity area. This featured graphics, which displayed the prize for winning the competition. A “Top Gear” style leader board graphic ran alongside and a bright green carpet was laid to mimic a putting green and to ensure the activity stood out.
The “business” side of the stand began along the back wall with a 65” screen running a product presentation on loop. The back corner of the stand featured a door providing access to a small hidden storage area where the hardware and networking for the live product demo was housed.
The live product demo station ran along the right hand wall, fronted by a counter (mounted with laptops) and included two adjacent recessed screens on the back wall running DuoCall’s video conferencing software circuit.
To the front of the stand was another bespoke counter with hidden storage for the company’s literature.
To add shape and depth to the look of the stand, we created a curved “Unify” product information graphic panel that stood off from the right back wall, with LED mood lighting behind. Bar stools were provided by us from our hire furniture stock.
The stand was 2.5m high, taken up to 3.5 due to a highly visible logo header panel that provided targeted integrated down lighters to highlight the live demo station area below.
