FoliuMed needed a stand for Europe CBD Expo, Excel and after realising the significance of the show to their marketplace and the potential returns it could give, they decided to opt for a bigger stand.

They needed to fit a 6x6m stand space and wanted to stand to have an “organic” and “natural” feel, a display area for their product and several meetings places on the stand.

We initially produced a back wall design, incorporating a walk-in storage area for product giveaway and literature.  We then integrated a 65” TV screen on the center back wall with a looping presentation.

The product display areas were situated in the back wall as bespoke recessed hexagonal and rectangle shelving units featuring “floating” acrylic shelves and LED strip lighting.  The back wall graphics flowed into these recessed product display units to enhance the fluid design.

Pelmets were positioned to the left and right of the back wall to case integrated down lighters.

A bespoke counter was created as a central focal point with hidden storage for product samples.

To enhance the stands presence, two triangular towers were custom made to stand on the front corners of the stand.  On one side we had two acrylic graphics panels suspended on floating cables and backlit with LED strip lighting. On the outer faces of the towers, we included a 32” recessed screen showing a presentation and below this was an acrylic graphic panel mounted on stand-offs.

The inner face of the towers housed recessed LED lit product showcases featuring acrylic shelving.

Foliumed also wanted a branded drum to front the stand. So we sourced a metal drum, a branded vinyl sticker was attached to the front and a custom top was made from 10mm branded Foamex and 80mm MDF.

The entire stand was built on our raised flooring system to allow for cabling to power the towers and was covered in a “wood effect” vinyl flooring to enhance the “organic” and “natural” vibe of the stand.  Tables and chairs were hired from our hire furniture stock.

By building this stand from a modular system, we significantly reduced any future installation costs for the clients and created a stand that is re-usable with minimum waste.
